Welcome to Greenland Early Learning Centre!
Greenland was established in 1996 in Mount Waverley, with a vision of creating a positive environment in childcare for our children and giving them the best possible start in life. As a family-owned and operated service, Greenland has always been about family values, learning and play, as well as providing a safe, positive and nurturing environment.
At Greenland Early Learning Centre, the safety, wellbeing and rights of every child areour highest priority.
We are committed to upholding the Victorian Child Safe Standards and fostering a culture where children feel safe, respected, valued and empowered. We actively promote children’s voices, encourage respectful relationships, and ensure all educators understand their responsibility to protect children from harm. Child safety is embedded in our policies, daily practices and ongoing professional development.

Greenland Early Learning Centre Programs
Our centre believes that children learn through play, to become confident and involved learners.
We believe that the children’s early years are the most significant for their development. We believe for children to develop to their full potential they need to feel they belong — by feeling loved, nurtured and cared for, and accepted for who they are.
We believe that Educators need to work in partnership with families, as they are their child’s primary educators, to provide professional and high-quality care and education for young children.
We are committed to creating an environment where children’s wellbeing is protected and promoted.
Through clear policies, safe environments, respectful interactions and strong partnerships with families, we ensure that every child’s physical, emotional and cultural safety is supported. Our educators participate in ongoing training in child protection, mandatory reporting, and child safety to maintain the highest standards of care.
